The CLIC 2019 Conference will be hosted in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. We welcome anyone with stakes in clinical education, be it LIC enthusiasts or first-timers, faculty, staff, or students. Previous participants have referred to CLIC Conferences as “unlike other conferences”, and “a place of debate and deliberation”. As continuity of relationships — with patients, peers, preceptors and/or programmes — underlies the foundation of LICs, we look forward to connecting, learning, influencing and championing change aimed at advancing clinical education and ultimately, patient care.

One of our core beliefs is in the power of relationships and radical collaborations. We believe that student participation in various high-profile medical education conferences provides them an avenue to be inspired to pursue innovative projects and collaborations or mentorship toward careers in academic medicine. To this end, we plan to help minimize barriers to participate in these rich learning experiences, chief of which - for many students - is funding.
We are still in the process of collating various institutional resources geared toward travel expenses for student participation at education conferences. Check back for updates!
As funds are available, we may be able to help with a few dollars towards your travel funds. Please apply below to be considered.
